Teaching internal martial arts and exercises to strengthen your internal organs and therefore your immune system, parasympathetic nervous system (promoting relaxation and [therefore] increased energy) and dealing with relationships, spiritual matters, including spiritual protection, memory techniques and other ways to improve and empower your life, to increase wellbeing and standard of living.
In their wisdom, ancient cultures, like the ancient Egyptians and ancient Chinese, sought to live in harmony with nature. In fact it is said that the ancient Egyptians never did anything that wasn't in harmony with nature (even the measurements of their building structures were taken from nature, which is another story), because they realised that mankind is also part of nature, which is something modern man seems to have forgotten. As an example, the measurement taken from the measurement of the diadem of the pharaoh (a line drawn across the forehead marking the bottom of the headdress) to the navel, in comparison to the measurement from the feet to the navel in any fully matured human, is in line with the golden proportion/ratio (1.618).
Then, in the ancient Chinese discipline of Daoism [Taoism], as this is actually a practice, although most people are only familiar with the philosophical side, made famous by Lao Tzi's [also known as Lao Tzu] work 'The Dao De Jing' [Tao Te Ching], but the practical side of this so called religion (although it is obviously a way of life), teaches us, not only how to be more in harmony with nature, since the Dao basically means "the way" and is describing the way things occur naturally, or the way of nature; but also how to guard and protect the three treasures of jing (essence), shen (spirit) and chi (life force).
This is done by taking the overall lifestyle into consideration and incorporating or adding certain habits into your daily routine, because if you look at nature everything has a purpose and everything is in balance.
These practices strengthen the internal organs and develop chi, improve health of the glands and jing, which also improves sexual health and vitality leading to better enjoyment of sex, better sexual health and fertility, (and also reduces hair loss and the amount of grey hairs, and can even lead to the regeneration of young hair in the really dedicated) all of which leads towards strengthening shen and giving better control and awareness of the body as well as spirit.
The main principle of these two ancient cultures is that nature is balanced, so our lives should reflect this by giving proper attention to all aspects of life, since strengthening one area also strengthens the other areas, the same way that neglecting one area of life has a negative knock on effect on the others. This is why we shall be focusing on various disciplines to promote a healthy holistic lifestyle, leading towards better health and longevity, preservation of life and further empowerment. Also, as a spiritual practice, Daoism offers spiritual protection againat malevolent spirits, if you wish to learn such things, or you can hire me to protect your home or remove them from your home, or even work space for you.
So get in touch if this sounds appealing to you, whether you just want to learn Tai Chi, self defence, greater peace of mind, better nutrition or all of the above and elements of a healthy holistic lifestyle.
Speaking of Balance
Healthy rlationships should also be part of a healthy holistic lifestyle. They can also be a source or drain of energy, so they are also important to understand, not only to preserve our energy, but also for our health and peace of mind. That's why I've described how communication affects energy, take a look at my meditation page to learn about this. I've also put together this website about communication too:
